Are Huskies Single or Double-Coated?
Huskies are a double-coated breed, with a dense, woolly undercoat and a long, coarse outer coat. Their specialized, insulating undercoat helps them regulate in extreme weather conditions, and their protective outer coat regularly sheds dirt and water. This breed requires regular grooming because they are heavy shedders with “blowing coat” seasons, and we formulate a de-shedding dog shampoo to help with maintenance.
